In this article which includes excerpts from an article I wrote for Speed Academy, Garrett, often referred to as Garrett Turbo, reveals test results from a deep dive I took in testing multiple sets of Garrett turbos on my project Nissan GTR. Data included turbo shafts speeds, exhaust manifold pressures, wastegate positions and more, which revealed what ultimately came next…yet another set of Garrett turbos (G35-900). Based on my data analysis of the G30-900, the G35-900 with smaller A/R exhaust housings proved to be the perfect match for this engine and my road course use.
