It Begins…

Unfortunately this car received less than proper treatment at a few other shops. After diagnosing a damaged engine we pulled it along with the turbo kit etc. and started to work. The block had been overbored to the moon and the crank was scored due to improper clearancing so they were both replaced. The rods had been heavily machined in a non uniform fashion so they were not used, and the pistons were heavily worn on the skirts due to the improper piston to wall clearance. We were able to salvage the cylinder head and cams. After a complete rebuild with new upgraded valvetrain and valves, the head was in good shape.
