Handling/Braking Kit
The goal of this setup was excellent performance with minimal reduction in ride height (about 1/2") and minimal increase in NVH. To that end we sourced and installed the following parts, most of which are shown:
KW Variant 3 Coilovers with stock sti strut tops
Perrin front anti-roll bar with upgraded poly bushings
Perrin rear anti-roll bar with upgraded mounts and poly bushings
Kartboy rear endlinks
Kartboy rear subframe bushings
GT Spec 3 piece Under Chassis Brace Kit including a lightweight subframe replacement and side braces
GT Spec ladder brace
GT Spec front and rear strut tower braces
Stoptech 332mm BBK (Big Brake Kit) including slotted rotors, high performance pads and stainless steel brake lines.
Stoptech rear upgraded slotted rotors (direct replacement for factory brembos)
Stoptech rear stainless steel brake lines
Ferodo DS2500 rear pads
Complete flush with ATE Super Blue DOT 4 brake fluid
While cruising along NVH is barely higher than stock and body roll has been severely cut down to the point where you barely notice it on street tires. We’re quite happy with the way this one turned out.
