Located in the heart of Buffalo, NY we are the premier import tuning facility in the western NY, southern Ontario region. We specialize in all aspects of automotive performance from project planning to parts selection, fabrication, welding, installation, and dyno and track tuning. We are the only shop in the region properly equipped and staffed to offer ground up performance from basic bolt on mods to all out drag race, gravel and tarmac rally, road race, autoX, time attack, and ice race builds. In 2004 the Japanese brands Subaru, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, Acura started off as our focus, but over the years we expanded our range to service select turbocharged vehicles from other makes such as BMW, VW/Audi, and Porsche. Dyno services for front, rear, and all wheel drive cars of all makes are available in house at our 8,000 square foot facility.

Our in house service department offers repair, installation, modification, welding and fabrication including, engine and transmission swaps, turbo kit installs, fuel system upgrades, basic bolt on mods and more. Machine services such as precision boring and honing, sleeving, balancing as well as teardown, inspection, and assembly are also available. Our one stop location for all your needs offers much more than convenience for our customers. When we execute a build start to finish and maintain your vehicle you get optimal performance and reliability not possible when multiple shops have hands in the build.

Innovative Tuning has a certified tuner on staff and we offer tuning on a number of standalone, piggyback, and reflash style engine management systems including but not limited to Vi-Pec, Cobb AccessTuner Pro (Subaru, Mitsu, Honda, Mazda, BMW), Motec, Link, AEM EMS, Hondata, DSMLink, Haltech, Autronic, etc. as well as traction control, nitrous oxide, and methanol injection systems. We specialize in forced induction tuning on turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous oxide assisted vehicles, but also tune naturally aspirated engines. Innovative Tuning also offers data acquisition, lap timing, and track analysis and support services off site.

We are a distributor for several major product lines including Precision Turbo and Engine, Vi-Pec, Tial, Corbeau and we are a dealer for many more. Cinco de Mayo fell on a weekend this year so we’re having the dyno day Friday, May 4th. Come one come all. Come to dyno your car or just come to hang out! We will have food and drink for guests and we’ve been told our new tent will be here for those hanging out front in our lot. Please let us know you’re coming so we can get food prepared.

Cars only. 2 runs front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, all wheel drive or four wheel drive will all be at the same discounted rate for the dyno day.

If you wear a Cinco de Mayo outfit (sombrero, fake mustache, you get the idea), the price is:
$36.78+tax=$40.00

Without outfit: $55.17+tax=$60.00

As usual, all our pricing is in USD.

Please make sure the car runs safely and is safe to drive at wide open throttle and high speeds, because that’s what a dyno pull involves. If the car isn’t safe to race it may not be safe to run on a dyno. That means it must track straight, can’t have dry rotted or chorded tires, leak fluids etc. We will not have time to check cars over thoroughly because we’ll have a lot of cars here for this so your cars must be mechanically sound upon arrival. If the car is deemed unsafe it will not be run.

Also, we dyno lowered cars all the time, but there is a limit to how low a car can be. It has to clear the ramps, rollers, and we need room to strap it down safely without parts hitting the dyno, tires rubbing fenders etc. If your car has very little ground clearance it may not fit on the dyno without scraping (if at all) so keep that in mind. This is a rare thing, but I mention it now to avoid any surprises. Most cars we put on the dyno are lowered and still have plenty of clearance so again...this is not a common problem.

Please respect our neighbors. If our lot is full (it will be) there’s on street parking so please do not park in or block neighbors driveways.

Every year this event gets bigger and bigger, but this is going to be a whole other level. We’re really looking forward to seeing you all here!
